TRICON POWDER

Composition

Each gram of soluble powder with dextrose contains:
Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride - 55mg

Indications

Tricon is recommended for the treatment of infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to chlortetracycline in cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, swine, dogs, cats and birds.

Contraindications

Tetracyclines can cause bone and teeth malformations in the foetus and toxicity in pregnant dams.

Dosage

Dissolve in drinking water or administer as a drench.
Pigs: 10-20mg Chlortetracycline Hcl/Kg bodyweight daily
Cats & Dogs: 20-50mg Chlortetracycline Hcl/Kg bodyweight daily
Pigs, Poultry, Birds: 130mg Chlortetracycline HCI/L of drinking water.
When given in drinking water all other sources of water to be removed till medicated water consumed. Replace medicated water every 24 hours.
Each level measure contains approximately 200mg Chlortetracycline HCI.

Withholding Period

Do not administer later than: 7 days for pigs 7 days for poultry before slaughter for human consumption. Do not use in laying birds.

Powder, 100g, 250g, 500g and 2Kg with measure.

Storage

Store below 25°C (Air Conditioning).
