FLUSAPEX TABLETS
Composition
Tablets- Frusemide 40 mg.
Action
Flusapex is an effective diuretic, possessing a wide therapeutic range. It may be administered orally or parenterally. It is readily absorbed from the intestinal tract and well tolerated.
Indications
Oedema associated with congestive heart failure, pulmonary oedema, udder oedema, Iocalised oedema associated with surgery or trauma. Treatment of physiological parturient oedema of the mammary gland and associated structures in cattle.
Contraindications
Impaired renal or hepatic function, neomycin medication.
Caution
Very large dose and prolonged treatment with any diuretic may lead to excessive diuresis which could result in electrolyte imbalances.
Dosage
Tablets:
Small Animals: 1 tablet per 8Kg bodyweight daily.
Large Animals: 5 mg per Kg bodyweight daily.
